No is the perfect example of how punk Wade can be.

This board was custom made for another project. It’s large and was expensive to buy. Wade wanted to use it to experiment with spray paint. I (his mum) was reluctant, but Wade got his way as if often the way these things go…

He tried spray paint for the first time and discovered a natural skill with the control of the can. He then wanted to bounce a ball on the surface so we attached a tennis ball to a string and let him go for it. He dipped, bounced and dragged the ball all over the surface.

Next he stepped in the paint and walked all over the surface. I stood on the sidelines knowing the board was disappearing under more and more layers of fun.

When he announced it was finished, Macarena and I wondered if it needed a layer of lighter colour as a contrast.

He said no….but used light coloured paint to say it all over the painting!
